To get the finest tasting coffee in the world you need to start with the finest best quality green beans around. Each green bean country of origin has a rating system which grades the coffee according to size and quality. Here at Aquaspresso we only select the best quality green beans from each country (all African countries including Burundi, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, Rwanda and Ethiopia)
We then blend the coffees after roasting (blending coffee is the process whereby one tries to create a perfectly balanced coffee using coffee form different regions to complement each other – e.g. Mocca Java is a blend between Ethiopian (Mocca) and Indonesian (Java) coffee beans. ) Mocca Java is a very famous blend as the properties of these two countries’ coffees complement each other very well.
Our Artisan roaster then roasts each coffee involved in the final blend separately to ensure that each coffee used in the final blend is roaster perfectly according to its profile.
Once roasted, the coffees are then blended according to our secret recipe to create our famous four blends – Gold, African, Mountain and Origins.
Origin Blend: great coffee was discovered in Ethiopia! Popular, smooth; distinctive winey flavours.
Africa Blend: rich blend of East Africas finest regions chocolate and nutty undertones.
Gold Blend: a potent alchemy of Southern African coffees well balanced with rich caramel flavours.
Mountain Blend: the Valley of 1000 Hills is home to great gorillas and world class coffee berries and orange zest give this coffee zing!
