What on earth is a coffee capsule/coffee capsule machine?
A capsule is a little container containing coffee beans which have been roasted and ground into an exact serving of espresso

But what if I don’t like espresso? – I only drink cappuccino!
Perfect (don’t worry we get this a lot). All coffee drinks including espressos, cappuccinos, café lattes and Americans are in fact espresso based – Which basically means all coffee drinks have an element of espresso in them. So yes you can make any coffee drinks with a capsule machine

So where do I get these capsules from ?
We deliver to all areas in Gauteng (jhb and Pretoria) FREE of charge. If you are somewhere else in the country you will unfortunately have to have your capsules delivered to a Gauteng location or otherwise organize your own delivery/collection
But is the coffee fresh – I have heard that freshly ground beans are the best?
Capsules (not pods) are actually the freshest coffee you can get! That is actually the reasons capsules were created.
The process is as follows:
The coffee beans are roasted and then ground. Immediately after grinding the coffee is compressed and then packaged in what is called a “capsule container”. The container is then nitrogen filled to remove all air and then sealed. So the coffee within a capsule will not see air in its lifetime until is it actually used.
Give me a quick overview of the benefits?
Simple, Practical and Fast You can prepare a superb espresso in just a few seconds with just one small gesture. The capsule is ready for use. It is hygienic, does not stain, does not soil. The light, compact packaging ensures that it takes up little space.
Ideal dose, constant quality The capsule structure offers ideal filtering to ensure maximum yield from the blend. Each capsule contains 8 grams of ground coffee, the ideal dose for a true Italian espresso. The coffee is always pressed to just enough to achieve a perfect result; the ever constant water flow permits excellent body and intensity.
Full, Unspoiled Aroma The air-tight closing of the capsule preserved under an inert gas, keeps the aroma and flavor of the coffee intact, exactly like freshly ground coffee both in terms of aroma and merceological properties, thus eliminating the risk of product oxidation.
