BRAVILOR NOVO FILTER PROS

Super Simple To Operate – Filter coffee machines are arguably the “easiest” of all coffee machines in terms of cleaning and operating. Literally, fill, pour and drink.

Speed – The Novo takes 4.5 minutes to fill after which it can be kept for up to 12 hours

Two Filter Pots – the Novo features two filter pots of 1.8 litres which gives about 3 times the capacity of most domestic filter units.

Heat Adjusting Hot Plates – The Novo is the only filter coffee machine on the market to feature heat adjusting hot plates which regulate the temperature applied to the coffee to almost eliminate the burning of coffee and the resulting bitter taste.

BRAVILOR NOVO FILTER CONS

No Fancy Drinks – A filter coffee machine solution is the cheapest of all coffee solutions with the exception of a simple kettle. However, the downside of simplicity is that there are no fancy drinks like cappuccinos, hot choc and lattes.

Not as Fresh as Bean Coffee – Filter coffee prepackaged in sachets is better than leaving a whole packet open and depleting it one day at a time, however, it is still not as fresh as bean to cup.

Old School – Filter coffee is, well, a little old school. If you are wanting a coffee machine to experience espresso and all things that come with it, then filter coffee is probably not the right fit for you.

Jura F50 Coffee Machine

The Jura F50 is, like all automatic coffee machines, a bean to cup fresh milk machine. It is designed for small to medium sized offices of up to about 25 people and is our most popular automatic coffee machine.

JURA F50 PROS

Milk Froth Quality – The froth on all Jura Automatic machines from mid 2014 utilises the new fine foam frothing technology which means that the milk froth for cappuccinos and lattes comes out thick and creamy. This is still one feature which separates Jura machines from most other entry level automatic machines on the market today.

Coffee and Espresso Extraction – The famous Jura grinder and brewing unit technology means the extraction on all “black coffee” drinks is still a level ahead other bean to cup options. The need for constant cleaning of coffee machines makes many of them somewhat of a nuisance.

No Removable Brewing Unit – Jura is still the only brand which doesn’t have a removable brewing unit which means everything can still be cleaned at the touch of a button

Relatively Low Priced – Although the Jura F50 is not entry-level-priced automatic machine, it is still one of the cheaper Jura models.

JURA F50 CONS

Two Touch Cappuccino – The F50 is a “two-touch” cappuccino machine. This means that one has to perform two actions when making themselves a cappuccino. This process adds on an extra 5 seconds and can be tricky for first time users. This isn’t usually an issue in office based environments but can be a challenge in environments where one wants to cater for a large number of first time users like car showrooms, boardrooms and reception areas.

There are Cheaper Models Out There – Although the Jura F50 is one of the cheaper Jura coffee machines, there are a number of other brands on the market which are still cheaper than the Jura F50. These other brands might not have the same frothing and extraction quality but the features are almost identical. If you are a first time drinker and not too fussy with your coffee quality then another brand might be a better option for you.

Noise – The F50 does have a few features to eliminate noise as much as possible however when grinding beans there is still some latent noise which can be heard.

Water Tank Size – The F50 has a 1.9 litre water tank which can make around 15 cups between fills (cappuccinos). The machine is ready to go immediately once the tank is refilled however it still does need to be refilled.

JURA F8 COFFEE MACHINE

The Jura F8 is, like all automatic coffee machines, a bean to cup fresh milk machine. The F8 is designed for small to medium sized offices of up to about 25 people and is our most popular automatic coffee machine. Its small size means it enables one to make a great cup of coffee at a very reasonable price, as coffee machine prices increase exponentially with increasing machine size.

Jura XS9 Coffee Machine

The Jura XS9 is, like all automatic coffee machines, a bean to cup fresh milk machine. The XS9 is designed for medium to large offices of 25+ people.

JURA XS9 PROS

Milk Froth Quality and Latte Option – The froth on all Jura Automatic machines from mid 2014 utilises the new fine foam frothing technology which means that the milk froth for cappuccinos and lattes comes out thick and creamy. This is still one feature which separates Jura machines from most other entry level automatic machines on the market today. The XS9 also allows for a one touch latte where the steamed milk and milk froth can be automatically separated.

Water Tank Size – The XS9 has one of the biggest water tanks of any automatic coffee machine in the industry. It is simply built for size.

One Touch Functionality – The XS9 features full one touch technology meaning every drink can be made at the touch of a button. The XS9 has a central coffee station for only black coffee drinks and a separate one touch station for milk based coffee drinks like cappuccino, latte and espresso machiato.

JURA XS9 CONS

Outdated Styling – The XS9 is Jura’s best selling coffee machine worldwide since the launch of the original XS90. The XS9 and its predecessor XS90 has been such a hit worldwide for so many years which is why Jura has kept this machine in its stable.

Noise – The XS9 does have a few features to eliminate noise as much as possible however when grinding beans there is still some latent noise which can be heard.

No TFT Screen – The XS9 is one of the few Jura machines which doesn’t feature a TFT but rather has an old school digital screen. If screens with illustrations are what you are looking for then the XS9 might not fit your aesthetic needs.

Aqua Instant Coffee Vending Machine

The Aqua Instant Vending Machine has been our most popular office coffee machine for the past 2 years. It a coffee vending machine which uses instant coffee and has three other canisters for tea, hot chocolate, sugar or milk.

Click here to view more information, pros and cons and video review

AQUA INSTANT PROS

Sometimes Saves Money – Because the Aqua Instant controls how much milk, coffee and sugar is dispensed per cup it enables companies to reduce their spend on these items. +-70% of companies land up saving money when using the Aqua Instant (when leaving out hot chocolate) however there are 30% of companies for whom the Aqua Instant doesn’t result in a cost save.

Super Simple To Operate – Automatic coffee machines can be a little tricky for first time operators. Vending machines do not share this same problem. Everything is dispensed at the touch of a button.

Speed – The Aqua Instant is super quick and dispenses a drink in less than 10 seconds. This dispensing time includes the time to mix the ingredients inside the machine,

Water Tank Size – The Aqua Instant comes either with a 21.9 litre water tank or can be plumbed into the water mains

Large Capacity – The Aqua Instant is designed for large usage and has a storage capacity of 150 cups between fills. The Aqua Instant has a capacity for 240 cups per hour.

AQUA INSTANT CONS

No Fancy Lights or Screens – The Aqua Instant has many strong features but if you are after the best looking machine on the block, this probably isn’t the machine for you. There are no fancy screens or backlights on the machine

Instant Coffee – Instant coffee has the benefit of being considerably cheaper than beans or capsules but it doesn’t taste as good. If you are looking for the best tasting coffee on the market this machine probably won’t give it to you.

Not Fresh Milk and Not Full Cream Option – The Aqua Instant uses dehydrated milk which works out a lot cheaper than fresh milk but inherently has more lactose which makes it sweeter. The powder milk used is 100% fat free which makes it froth very well but might not meet the tastes of people used to only full cream milk.

Aqua Bean Coffee Vending Machine

The Aqua Bean Vending Machine has been our most popular office coffee machine for the past 2 years. It is a bean to cup coffee vending machine which has two other canisters intended for the hot chocolate and milk.

AQUA BEAN PROS

Super Simple To Operate – Automatic coffee machines can be a little tricky for first time operators. Vending machines do not share this same problem. Everything is dispensed at the touch of a button.

Speed – The Aqua Bean is considerably quicker than its automatic bean to cup counterparts. Any hot beverage is dispensed in under 20 seconds, compared to 1 minute for a cappuccino from an automatic machine.

Water Tank Size – The Aqua Bean comes either with a 21.9 litre water tank or can be plumbed into the water mains.

Large Capacity – The Aqua Bean is designed for large usage and has a storage capacity of 150 cups between fills. The Aqua Bean has the capacity for 120 cups per hour.

Taste – Being a Bean-To-Cup machine means the quality of coffee dispensed from the Aqua Bean is as good as any other machine on the market.

AQUA BEAN CONS

No Fancy Lights or Screens – The Aqua Bean has many strong features but if you are after the best looking machine on the block, this probably isn’t the machine for you. There are no fancy screens or backlights on the machine

Bean Coffee – Whole bean coffee, ground on the spot, produces the best quality coffee; however, it is a more expensive solution than going instant. If your intention is to save money then the Aqua Bean is probably not the right machine for you.

Not Fresh Milk and Not Full Cream Option – The Aqua Bean uses dehydrated milk which works out a lot cheaper than fresh milk but inherently has more lactose which makes it sweeter. The powder milk used is 100% fat free which makes it froth very well but might not meet the tastes of people used to only full cream milk.

Aqua Solo Hot Chocolate Machine

The Aqua Solo Hot Chocolate machine is the newest machine in our stable and is perhaps our simplest in terms of operation and functionality. It does, as the name suggests, hot chocolate and hot chocolate alone.

Click here to view more information, pros and cons and video review

AQUA SOLO PROS

Speed – The Aqua Solo, like the Aqua Instant, produces a frothy cup of hot chocolate in under 10 seconds.

Super Simple To Operate – There are only two buttons on the Aqua Hot Chocolate; one for Hot Chocolate and one for cleaning. Super easy.

Water Tank Size – The Aqua Solo comes either with a 21.8 litre water tank or can be plumbed into the water mains.

Large Capacity – The Aqua Solo is designed for large usage and has a storage capacity of 200 cups between fills (4kg capacity). The Aqua Chocolate also can produce hot chocolate at a speed of 240 cups per hour.

AQUA SOLO CONS

No Fancy Lights or Screens – The Aqua Solo has many strong features but if you are after the best looking machine on the block, this probably isn’t the machine for you. There are no fancy screens or backlights on the machine.

No Cream – The Solo has a specialised whipper disk to make the hot chocolates frothy but it has no automatic options for adding whipped cream or fancy toppings which can leave the rich hot chococolate purists left wanting.

No Coffee – The Aqua Solo is super simple and only produces one type of hot chocolate. If one is after a selection of hot chocolates in one machine (white chocolate, Belgian chocolate, etc) then the Aqua Solo might not be the machine for you.

Important Things to Consider

Before you Rent a Coffee Machine

Coffee machine rental prices are a little more complicated than just a single price. We discuss a few points below to help you understand how we arrive at our pricing model and are all very important to consider when renting a coffee machine.

Buy or Rent?

Rental is best for volume, no upfront investment and includes maintenance plan with machine swop out for volume increases or faults. Buying is best for limited cups and if you prefer ownership. The cost of the coffee remains the same whether you rent or buy a machine.

Rental Term

Long term contracts are out today. We only offer short term 12 month contracts, and you have the option to cancel at any time in the first 30 days.

Buying the Products

Coffee is our business. Ask us anything about the coffee machines and coffee products as we consider ourselves coffee solution experts. We supply coffee products with free delivery in major centres and consumption heavily discounts your monthly rental cost, including free servicing.

Flexible Options

Let’s face it, things change. Clients can change their minds, would like to change machines or decide they want to purchase a different machine. We firmly believe in the importance of flexibility.
