Bravilor Esprecious Review: Good or Bad?

Bravilor Esprecious Review: All the good and bad

The Bravilor Esprecious is the flagship bean to cup coffee vending machine in the Bravilor coffee machine stable.  We will describe the model types, aesthetics and functionality of the Bravilor Esprecious as well as give our opinion on the good and the bad of the machine

Bravilor Esprecious

Models and Versions:

The Bravilor Esprecious comes in four versions:

Esprecious 11: One canister for coffee beans and one canister for instant ingredients (Usually milk powder)

Esprecious 12: One canister for coffee beans and two canisters for instant ingredients (Usually milk powder and hot chocolate)

Esprecious 21: Two grinders and two hoppers for two different coffee beans and one canister for instant ingredients (usually milk powder)

Esprecious22: Two grinders and two hoppers for two different coffee beans and two canisters for instant ingredients (usually milk powder and hot chocolate)

Aesthetics:

We have seen a lot of coffee machines in our time but probably none as beautiful as the Esprecious. The Esprecious features a an LCD interactive touchscreen with a colour changing backlight which can be set to be constant at a certain colour which matches your companies colours or can be set to alternate every few seconds. When a drink option is selected the machine, brings up the drink which was selected and shows a graphical depiction on the main screen (pretty awesome)

The adjustable dispensing outlet has a stainless steel finish which is really sleek and a nice change from the plastic coated ones typical in coffee machines these days.

Drink Options:

The Bravilor Esprecious can be set to make pretty much any coffee drink option with the standard settings being

  • Espresso
  • Americano
  • Cappuccino
  • Café Late
  • Hot Choc
  • Chocacino
  • Hot Water
  • Hot Milk

The programmable menu does allow you to tinker when any of the standard settings above to make pretty much whatever you like.

Features:

The Esprecious has an extensive list of impressive features as well

  • Height adjustable outlet for different cup sizes
  • Warning indicators for a full waste bin or grounds container and for a full drip tray
  • Cup counters/cup readings with a Wi-Fi connectivity option to allow you to pull the info and export to Excel
  • Coin exchanger and note reader compatible
  • Separate hot water section

Price:

The Esprecious falls into the high end Bean-To-Cup vending machines making it not a cheap buy at R51,000.00 Ex. VAT but fairly similarly priced compared to the Jura Giga 5, WMF1200 and the Sprada Franke

Verdict:

The Bravilor Esprecious is an awesome machine in terms of Aesthetics, Features and Durability. If you have a high volume location it could be a great option for you. The one drawback it does have however is that, although the machine can produce 250 cups per day comfortably, the canister sizes are not sufficiently big enough to allow this type of usage without a second fill

Also if your application doesn’t demand high volume then an automatic coffee machine might be a better bet (in terms of value for money) than the Esprecious but if high commercial coffee usage is what you are after, the Esprecious is a great option.

One thing is sure; if you can afford this machine you won’t be disappointed.
